Who we are
Plum Networks Ltd, registered in England no. 14470184. Registered office: Devonshire House, Manor Way, Borehamwood, England, WD6 1QQ. We're the data controller for information collected through this website. Our named contact for data protection is Alex Gordon, director. What we collect
- Things you send us — your name, email, phone number, company and message when you use a contact form, request a checklist, email us, call us or message us on WhatsApp.
- Website usage — if you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics records things like which pages you visited, roughly where you are (town level), your device type and how you arrived. It doesn't tell us who you are.
Phone calls. We may record calls to and from our business lines, to help with training, to keep an accurate record of what was agreed, and to deal with any disputes or complaints. Where a call is recorded we'll let you know at the start of the call. Recordings are kept securely for no longer than 12 months unless they're needed to resolve a complaint, and you can ask us for a copy of any recording of you.
Why we use it
- To reply to you and, if you ask us to, to quote for and provide our services (our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries, or to take steps towards a contract).
- To send you a checklist or guide you've asked for, and a small number of follow-up emails about it. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and we'll stop straight away if you ask.
- To understand which pages and adverts are useful, so we can improve the site (only with your consent, via cookies).
We don't sell your information, and we don't add you to a mailing list you didn't ask for.
Who we share it with
Only the services we use to run the business: Zoho (our customer records system, where enquiries are stored), Microsoft 365 (email), Google (website analytics and advertising measurement) and Meta (WhatsApp, and Facebook ad measurement if you've accepted cookies). Some of these providers may process data outside the UK under standard legal safeguards.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that don't become work: up to two years, then deleted. Customer records: for as long as you're a customer and up to six years afterwards, for accounting and legal reasons. Analytics data: 14 months.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, object to how we use it, or withdraw consent at any time. Email office@plumnetworks.co.uk and we'll reply within a month. If you're unhappy with how we've handled it, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Keeping it secure
We keep your information on business systems protected by passwords, multi-factor sign-in and encryption, and only the people who need it can see it. No system on the internet is completely secure, but we take the same care with our own data that we take with our clients'.

This policy only covers this website. If you follow a link to another site, such as a partner, a supplier or a review site, that site's own privacy policy applies.

We'll update this page if the way we handle information changes. The date at the top shows when it was last revised.
